Basic information
Artificial biological heart valve—pig aortic valve. It was approved for registration in October 2003. It was the first porcine aortic valve approved for registration in China, filling a domestic gap.
Performance advantages
The main structure of the artificial biological heart valve is made of selected xenogeneic biological tissue materials (pig aortic valve), chemically modified and specific sewing methods to create a bionic replacement prosthesis shaped like a natural heart valve. Its function can replace the natural heart valve, opening and closing rhythmically with the heartbeat, so as to realize a valve that ensures one-way flow of blood. Compared with artificial mechanical heart valves, it has the advantages of central blood flow, low noise, large opening area, low valve opening pressure, good blood compatibility, low regurgitation rate, and high postoperative quality of life.

Scope of application
